The Twins have a noon press conference slated for a big announcement about the new ballpark. Could it be naming rights? A local blogger did some internet sluething, and discovered the URLs for LandOLakesPark.com and LandOLakesField.com have been registered by the Minnesota Twins Vice-President of technology. Land O' Lakes is a Minnesota company, and the name kind of has a ring to it. What do you think of the name? How about a nickname? Should we call it the butter tub? LOL Field (may be appropriate depending on the caliber of Twins Play).
UPDATE 1pm: Someone needs to teach the Twins the meaning of "big announcement." They named Sportsservice the company running concessions. Who cares.
