Welcome to Conversation Nation, the official home of conversation. Ok, truth be told, conversation doesn’t technically have an official home. But our legal department is looking into it. Until then, this is where David, Paula, Robi and Todd bring their thought bubbles to life and welcome you in to discuss whatever’s on your mind.

Was Dog Officer A Dog-napper?

Sounds like it could be a case of dog-napping and the accused thief is a dog catcher !

A local woman has been reunited with her expensive pet but she thinks the Stoughton Animal Control officer was out of control

Janet Torren's Silky Yorkshire terrier Shai went missing on September 18th in Stoughton. She searched for days by knocking on doors and bombarding the web. Turns out Shai has one of those GPS tags in her ear and it was scanned by Stoughton Animal Control the day Shai went missing. But Torren says she was told they did not find her dog

Now Torren believes that Animal Control officer Kristen Bousquet, gave her dog to the friend of a Stoughton cop. Torren told The Brockton Enterprise Bousquet only returned her $1,500 pet after she threatened her with criminal charges

Stoughton officials are investigating but Torren is demanding answers

Update: Our reporter Bill Shields just talked to Janet who says the person who had Shai was on the way to Florida with the dog when Janet demanded she get her pet back!
