The 18 year old single mom just signed on to be a Teen Ambassador for a national campaign to prevent teen pregnancy
Back in February Palin told FOX News teens should avoid sex but "abstinence is not realistic at all"
Now she's saying: "If I can prevent even one girl from getting pregnant, I will feel a sense of accomplishment."
In December Palin gave birth to a baby boy, Trigg. She and the boy's father, Levi Johnston, cancelled plans to marry.

Local teen pregnancy prevention advocates told us having a "celebrity" spokesperson can be helpful but it order to succeed programs must provide teens with comprehensive sex education, access to contraceptives and hope for a bright future.
Can she be role model? Local teens we talked to are skeptical. Isn't her situation a lot different from most teens?
