It's time for me to chase something else.
Dear Weather & Science Friends...
The time has come for me to take a "sabbatical" from the daily grind of local TV news. I wanted to thank all of you for sharing your passion for weather with me and our weather team. It has been an honor to work as both a forecaster and science reporter here in New England for almost 20 years. You have all inspired me to continue to learn about weather and climate and to share my many discoveries with you.
I leave to spend more time with my daughter Nalina who will be 3 in October. She is such a blessing with a great sense of humor. I want to enjoy these years with her before she doesn't think I am "cool" anymore:) I look forward to chasing her around rather than storms!
I have had many projects on hold over the years for this transition time. So I look forward to continuing my work in weather and climate--all assignments that can be done in a flexible manner to maximize family time. Please know, although I am leaving local TV for now, I do plan to return when the time and opportunity is right. Thanks again for your support over the years and for sharing your love of our atmosphere.
Warm Regards & Sunny Skies--
Mish
