CBS 5 has confirmed that two snow skiers missing in the Sierra since Saturday have been found alive:
Two San Francisco skiers missing since Saturday in the snowy Sierra have were found alive Monday.
Dozens
of people were searching for Patrick Frost, 35, and Christopher Gerwig,
32, who had been missing since they left the Alpine Meadows ski resort
just north of Lake Tahoe. They were last seen late Saturday morning at
a resort bar listening to advice about different outlying areas to ski.
Sgt. Alan Carter of the Placer County Sheriff's department says
said Monday morning he expected a positive outcome from the
day's search because the weather conditions looked better and
helicopters were going to be joining the search.
The skiers were being flown to the aiport in Auburn.
