1:30 and still no torch. People around here who came to see the run, not to protest, are disappointed. Some are wondering aloud if it will ever come by the Ferry Building where I am stationed. One couple is considering leaving. Where is the freaking torch? Anybody know?

UPDATE 1:46 p.m.: A commenter says CNN is reporting that the torch will be taken by boat to the Ferry Building. Ridiculous. Are they going to he have the runners jog in place?
UPDATE 1:47 p.m.: Crowds thinning significantly. Still no torch,
UPDATE 1:54 p.m.: Twitter is great, but in reading it now I see about 3 different locations for theis alleged torch. Boat, bus...the only way this torch has not been projected to travel is by plane.
