It seems like every holiday there's something free to be
given away, and Veterans Day is no exception! For men and woman who have served
this country, there are some great deals to be had.
Deals For Vets,
Current Military• On Veterans Day (11/11),
Outback Steakhouse is offering a
free Bloomin' Onion and drink.

Applebee's is giving a free entrée (6 to choose from) from
11 a.m. until midnight that day.
• Some
home improvement discounts: Home Depot is offering a
10-percent discount through 11/11. Lowes is also offering a 10-percent discount
through 11/15.
•
Sam's Club is giving away 25,000 walking canes to vets in
need on 11/11. There are approximately 40 per store, while supplies last.
Out Of State DealsHere are a few deals happening outside of Minnesota (mostly because the franchises
have left the state) but feel free to pass them on if you know a vet or active
duty member in another state.

Krispy Kreme is offering a free doughnut (11/11).
•
Unos Pizza is giving free entrée or individual pizza (11/11).
•
Golden Corral, is holding its annual Military Appreciation
Dinner on Monday (11/16) from 5 to 9 p.m.
