Whatever
you want to say it's looking a lot like Al Franken is going to win this thing.
Yes, legal challenges loom. But it appears the State Canvassing Board will, in
the next 48 hours, declare a winner in this Senate race, and that winner will
be Al Franken.
On
Nov. 5, Sen. Coleman claimed victory saying if he were the one that was behind
he would just concede, suggesting Al Franken do just that.
Franken,
poised for victory, is perhaps remembering that moment and refusing to comment
until the Canvassing Board makes their announcement. The votes have been
counted. Yes, it was excruciatingly close. But this was not a tie folks, and
one candidate is looking like the guy who won.
The
question is will the guy who appears to have lost follow the recommendation he
made just two months ago.
