There’s really nothing better.
As I shiver all the way to the 72 degree climate
controlled puffy palace today … I’m going to be reminiscing about all the
emotional ups and downs this season.
I’ll remember the feeling of confidence we had in the
starting rotation before the season started. I’ll be thinking about the
“Meltdown in Oakland” and about how people many counted them
out after that disaster. I’ll be worried about almost losing a 10 run lead last
night.
BUT … none of that matters right now. We win today and
we’re still in it. The Twins are the only team fighting for a playoff spot this
final weekend. That’s special.
Everyone calls the American League Central Division the
weakest division in baseball … I respectfully disagree. I call it the
scrappiest.
