Governor Trompeter that would be. It has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? Believe me, I have no aspirations to get
into politics, but I didn’t hesitate long when I was asked to fill in for
Gov. Tim Pawlenty on his weekly radio program tomorrow morning on WCCO-AM.
I get to be "Governor for a day!" Or at least an
hour.
As part of the deal, I’ve been
told I’ll be given the opportunity to issue an executive order or two, and a
proclamation. (I’m fairly certain the executive orders will last no longer
than the radio show does.) But come on. How often are you given such power, if
only symbolically?
So, what do you think? What should my
proclamations and executive orders be? I have a few ideas, but I’m eager to
hear yours. So weigh-in by posting your comments below, and give a listen
tomorrow morning from 9 to 10 on 830AM. And cross your fingers that I don’t
embarrass myself or Governor Pawlenty.
Happy Day
everyone!
