The clock is ticking at the Minnesota State Capitol. Lawmakers
have just one more week in the regular session and they've still got to
approve a budget.
Democrats who are in control of the Legislature and Republican Gov.
Tim Pawlenty still have to work out a majority of the two-year budget for the
state.
Its a big job. Right now the state is running on deficit of $4.6
billion.
If they can't do it by May 18, they'll have to hold a special
session to get it done.
So what do you think? Will they be able to meet the deadline or will we end up footing the
bill for another special session? What do think about the job lawmakers have done this session?
