The movement to snuff out smoking in
bars and restaurants is hitting the road in Minnesota.
Legislation was introduced Thursday
at the state capitol that would ban smoking in vehicles when children are riding
along.
You could be fined about $100.
Similar laws already exist in
California, Arkansas, Louisiana and
Maine.
Smoking while driving with children
would be a secondary violation -- like the seat belt law -- which means a driver
would have to be pulled over for something else first, not just for
smoking.
What do you think -- is this a good
idea?
