Blogging what you had for lunch is a big joke. Haha. People with blogs have nothing to say, because they are not professionals, and so they must resort to telling a world that does not and will never care that they had a tuna sandwich around the noon hour. The joke evolved from blogging to those twerps on Twitter in recent times, but the sentiment remains the same: No one cares what you had for lunch.

Well, dammit, we care what you had for lunch! In fact,
CBS 5 wants every one who goes out for lunch today (and you know you failed to pack your bento due to wanting to sleep in), to
snap a photo (a blurry BlackBerry image will do)
of your meal plus the menu, which
as of today should have nutrition information on it (non-chains are exempt).
All you have to do is order your favorite dish, as usual, pay for it, as usual, but when you see the menu and receive your sustenance, snap a photo with your cell phone and send it to
bgilbert@kpix.cbs.com. If enough of you come through on this, we'll have a little segment featuring your images on tonight's newscast. So get conjure yourself up a good hunger, then go nuts. Cell snaps of Quarter Pounders for all!
