That crazy bird that dive bombs people in the Financial District? I saw him this morning, attacking a Latino man who was batting it away with his ball cap. Pretty unsuccessfully.
Have you seen this aggressive black bird striking the heads of passers-by? They all kinda react the same way: duck and cover.
I could not help but laugh at the bird's head swoop. That was the bird I'd read about in the news! Attacking a man right in front of me. The man seemed amused, as well, grinning at me and shrugging as if to say, "What. In. The. Hell?"
As I walked away a father was showing his daughter the spot where the bird might attack them, too.
Someone's gonna get an eye put out, is all I'm saying.
UPDATE, 12:10 p.m.: But, of course! There is a blog dedicated to the attacking black bird, and it's terrific.
