But it's PARKED on green
(Can't get enough of her? Sick of the mention of her name? Take the Let's Blog! Octomom poll, on the right.)
(Update: lots of name-calling in the comments section! And some people are 'mad as Hell and not going to take it anymore!' The source of all this friction is the article on which the original blog, below, is based. -Kent, or just call me 'an idiot and poor journalist at best.')
The California Air Resources Board (don't let your eyes glaze over: stay with me) is proposing legislation in Sacramento, that might go so far as to consider banning black cars. Oh good Lord.
The thinking is that black cars take more energy to cool. So it's all about global lunacy, I mean, global warming. Check out the complete article, thanks to eagle-eyed Let's Blog! reader and automotive expert, Alex. Uh, for decades, drivers have reduced hot air in cars that have sat in the sun, by rolling down the windows for a moment. If passed, the No Black Cars law would show you how naive you've been, thinking that's a solution. (It'd go into effect in 2012.)
Now, let your eyes glaze over, and go watch some late-night TV . Or, leave your Comments (I'll forward them to Sacramento), below.
