Rain has returned and we'll have it in two batches. Number one is moving through now and number two arrives for the afternoon. Between the batches there will be some rain free conditions for midday, not exactly dry or sunny but not pouring on you!
The complex storm meanders away later tonight when the rain tapers to some evening drizzle. The clearing will be a little delayed tomorrow due to NE winds keeping some moisture around but by afternoon subsidence should win out and the sun should emerge.
The weekend still looks breezy and mild on Saturday with the risk of a few showers. The forecast for Sunday has been amended, along the front that will bring us a few showers on Saturday an area of low pressure will develop. That low is now expected to head up the Appalacians into the Northeast...the threat for rain Sunday afternoon is now running much higher.
