A 39-year-old man will spend 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to knowingly exposing a woman from Duluth to the AIDS virus.
Jessie Allen Tuff made the plea last month and was sentenced on Tuesday.
A judge in Duluth also fined Tuff $100 and ordered him to pay more than $300 in medical bills for the 50-year-old victim.
She told police she had a relationship with Tuff in 2008 and found out he was HIV positive after reading an email from his ex-wife.
What do you think about the punishment in this case? Is 90 days in jail enough?
