Just wondering this morning.

Why, when it is dry, does the newspaper stay completely inside it's little plastic pouch, to the point that it's difficult to extract without tearing the baggie to flinders?

Why, when it is wet, does the newspaper slide out -- part way -- thus soaking the few stories you're actually interested in reading?

Just wondering.
