In the edge today...I mentioned a map of our power grid. It was posted on NPR's website. Take a look at it...it really puts our power use into perspective.

Also I mentioned a washable keyboard...you could literally dunk it into a bucket of soapy water. It's from Firebox.com.

I'll keep you updated on any possible rain.

I Smell Swine

Here is a link for the swine flu map from google. You can actually track the disease on the map in real time. Just so you can follow along...Pink arrows are possible cases...purple arrows are confirmed cases.

Conficker!

If you need some "conficker" help here are some resources...

During the 2 p.m. broadcast today...I talked about the "60 minutes" story about the Conficker Worm. Here is the link to that broadcast.

Oh by the way...had dinner last night at a fantastic restaurant in Silverlake. It's called Reservoir...fantastic food, quaint setting, and actually kind to the environment. Recycled materials were used in the construction of the building. The menus are printed on recycled paper...and the food is fresh and local. The owners of the restaurant have taken special care in becoming one with the Silverlake neighborhood. Can't reccomend it enough!

Cool Nasa Video

Wind advisories have expired for Friday...watch out it could get gusty again on Sunday.

I just found this video at nasa.gov, and it is awesome! We have always had different views of the shuttle during take off...but how about those solid rocket boosters as the come back down to earth.

Keep Track Of The Shuttle

Here is a link to keep track of the shuttle during the mission. There are regular updates on progress and mission issues. It also is fun to tool around the NASA website. Great photos and information about the Space Program...if your geek enough like me!

NASA is now offering free peaks of the International Space Station in "real" time. The agency has started a live stream from the space station, however you will not be able to see any of the astronauts. As a way to maintain the bandwidth...the live stream will be available when the space men and women are asleep. Here is the link for NASA.

Tweet Your Sins Away

First off...this was in "The Edge" today...it's a website where you can confess your sins anonymously. It's called...Secret Tweet...try it out.
