"Every day I thank God I came here and had the chance to show people who I really am." -Manny Ramirez-
Hey, isn't that a nice thing for Manny to say that about his eight years in Boston! Wait...hold on...he's not talking about his time with the Red Sox?
Nope. He's talking L-A baby, his new laid back home.
Forget about the $160 million the Red Sox paid him and the two World Series rings. It turns out Manny was miserable here the whole time. The dreadlocked one told the LA Times that he knew from day one that Boston was a bad fit and now he no longer feels like he's "in a cage."
He tanked it the last few weeks in Boston in order to get traded. Now he's actually running full speed with the Dodgers and that supposedly bum knee is good enough to propel him into the MVP race in the National League.
A couple of weeks ago Curt Schilling took some major, well deserved shots at Manny and now our former slugger is hitting back.
The fans here had his back, but he says they take baseball too seriously. The LA fans are "unbelievable". Are you kidding Manny?
Don't let the sushi hit you on the way out
